ETI holds bi-annual welding competitions for high school students. In the competition, every participant receives a scholarship for participation, with first place winning the biggest prize.

Oxyacetylene welding, also known as gas welding, is a process using oxygen and acetylene combustion.

When using a hand-held torch or blowpipe, it produces a flame with a temperature of around 3200 degrees Celsius. Watch these videos for information on oxy fuel welding from one of our expert instructors.

In ETI’s Skilled Welding Program, you can get hands-on experience in this type of welding, among others, in our approximately 14,000 sq ft welding lab. Discover how we can help you start or advance your welding career.
